Deanston Virgin Oak Finish Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky｜ Other Products

Deanston Virgin Oak is the affordable, no-age-statement entry to the hydro-powered Highland distillery in Doune, a converted 18th-century cotton mill on the River Teith that has been making unpeated single malt since 1966. After an initial maturation in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is finished in brand-new American virgin oak, a cask type more common in bourbon than Scotch.Bottled at 92.6 proof, non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, it delivers intense vanilla, caramel and toasted oak from the fresh wood, with honey, dried fruit and warm baking spice underneath and a robust, velvety texture that finishes with a subtle earthiness. It is a bold, sweet, bourbon-lover's Scotch at an entry-level price, and one of the best-value non-chill-filtered malts on the shelf for a highball or an Old Fashioned.Buy Deanston Virgin Oak Finish Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
